Silver Fox Inn

This place was very much like a lodge . Great location if you are there to ski or hike. Rooms were clean and they put 4 pillow on your bed . Just wish they had refrigerators in the rooms . Great common areas and their breakfast is fantastic .

Rooms were clean, hotel is safe and makes you feel safe. The hotel is a little dated but you get your money’s worth! At the time of our stay we got a freedom pass for the resort, when we booked our hotel, that was awesome and worth at least $100 due to the free rentals and activities! My largest complaint is I wish the doors were a little thicker, there was decent noise transmission from the hallway. Over all, we got our money’s worth

My partner and I stayed here on our way to Franconia Notch and it was the most delightful stay. The beds were very comfortable, our room was nicely decorated, the tea selection was exceptional and the service was supreme. The breakfast was delicious, I’m still dreaming of the scones. I cannot wait to return to this inn.

Amazing food & service. This is our new favorites for their steak night on the weekends, but their burgers are fantastic, too. Michelle is a lot of fun at the bar! We'll be back routinely!

Really great value! When you consider the location (close to Arhletic center and Town Square, on the shuttle route to the mountain), the Freedom passes included for the stay, and the nice breakfast, the value for the price is excellent. On top of that, the service from the front desk and breakfast staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond to offer great service.

I stayed three nights here during a recent hiking trip. The staff were all friendly and professional. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and well kept. I was impressed with the breakfast, which was more than a standard continental and had at least two proteins every day. Overall not a destination in and of itself, but a solid value for lodging in Waterville Valley.

Great, friendly staff who try to accommodate everyone. We had an issue with our room and they were able to find us another room (and they were sold out). Hotel was clean and comfy. Great breakfast and happy hour snacks. Note this property is no longer a best western and the owners are great. Did not rate it higher because it is a basic hotel and beds could have been more comfortable

A great location beside the conference center. Some staff are more helpful than others. We were first given a basement room (that you can also have pets) but we might have rated the hotel with a 3 from there. When we requested a different room they gave us one on the third floor (not sure why they did not give that to us right away?) and that was nicer; with a pleasant lobby area just outside the room. A very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning.
